After 10 years at two different universities in two different countries, I have finally allowed myself the plunge back into the ‘real world’, where I now find myself confused about what it means to not be a student when that’s all I was for so long; how to continue being a writer when there are no more supervisors of my work, no more fellow students, and when all projects need to be determined by and done for me, and me alone.
Past fields of study were Continental Philosophy, English and American Literature, and Creative Writing.
What I want from this blog is a place to collect thoughts on the writing process as I figure it out for myself, thoughts on what it means to write, and some of the practical nonsense I fill my days with.
My name is Flo. Welcome.
